ST. LOUIS BARNDOMINIUM BUILDERS / CORE

Tell us where and what. We reply with the county check — what the parcel's county, city or covenant will and will not allow — and the next step, which is almost always the soil evaluation. The written, itemized estimate follows the design and site work and is good for 30 days. If you ran the instant estimate, attach the brief.

What happens next

  1. County check — we confirm jurisdiction, covenants, floodplain and fire district for the parcel and tell you what applies, including if the answer is "not there" (Arnold, or a covenant that bans metal siding).
  2. Soil — a soil scientist's profile pits on the drainfield area; if you are buying, make the contract contingent on it.
  3. Design and estimate — scope, layout, allowances; a fixed-price, itemized written estimate with the county's fees passed through and the site package priced from the soil report.
  4. Permits — whichever the county requires; no deposit until the county has issued the permit (or, where it issues none, until the septic permit and fire-district check are done).

What we do not do

Sell in your living room; price something that expires tonight; call you to sell; share your details. See how we build and privacy.

Written scope. Itemized estimate. No deposit until the county says yes.
